Your statement should say “men are inherently selfish.” It’s women who are naturally giving and selfless. Women are the ones who create communities, volunteer, share, and provide emotional support to others. Women are the social fabric of society. The majority of selfishness and depravity we see in the world is predominantly perpetrated by Men. Women are the closest thing Men have to seeing what true humanity and compassion looks like. I find it ludicrous when people make broad generalisations like using terms like ‘humans’ or ‘people’ to lump women in with men. To deflect and make Men feel better at how fucked up, their own gender is. Women and Men are fundamentally different creatures. Please don’t group up Women with Men again. We are not the same.
No thanks.
“Humans are inherently selfish--" Then why do so many cultures value hospitality, to the point of dictating it in their religions? Why is it so common for hosts to offer their visitors their best food, and as much of it as they can? At some point, multiple cultures decided that they knew what it felt like to be alone and vulnerable, and promised each other to never let those who stay with them feel that way. That doesn't sound very "inherently selfish" to me.

once you start noticing how casually misogyny is incorporated into society theres literally NO going back. look at our insults! theres so many words to degrade womyn just existing the same as men.
bitch, slut, whore, cunt are just used to insult us for being confident/sexually active.
even passive terms like crazy cat lady and calling confident young girls 'bossy' ARE contributing to this!
the first step to unlearning internalized misogyny is learning to stop using terms like these.

A woman having an opinion you don’t like is the same as a man violently raping several women. You can’t make this shit up.

Everytime a woman speaks on how these things are damaging to females as a class you always get people whining and crying about their individual choices. "Who hurt you?" or "you re just bitter" are phrases that crop up in almost every conversation where girls share their pain. The purpose isn t to empathize or connect—it s to undermine, to shift the focus away from the legitimacy of her experience. But why does this pattern continue to play out, even among those who claim to care about equality and understanding? Gendered insults also shed light on this deeper cultural issue. It didn't dawn on me until I got older that this wasn't 'normal'. That not everyone's mother was like that. I rarely felt pressure to conform to patriarchal gender stereotypes because I didn't grow up with one as a role model. In fact the only times I started to feel as though I should conform to ‘femininity' was when I started integrating more into wider society and less in the comfort of my home. how fucking disgusting.
"woman does not appear like the perfect female stereotype because she has short hair and is now trapped in a marriage with a husband&child due to societal pressure, you know what would save her? cross sex hormones!"
how fucking stupid can someone be
I mourn for the rebellious masc 'girl' in every movie, who grow out of her manliness and becomes some asshole's domesticated wife. I mourn for her short untameable hair, which she was always running a hand through in those old photos. I see the way her fingers linger as she goes through the album with her young daughter, forcing a laugh at who she 'used' to be.
T would have saved him.

Men masturbate to shit that would be considered an actual fucking crime in literally any other context outside of porn and then act like that has no influence whatsoever on how they view and interact with women.
